Lush Delight Bath Oil

Lush introduced the US to their skin loving bath oils. Now these had been available through the Lush kitchen and Lush UK. For those of us over the pond this gives us more chances to see them up close before purchasing or risking them melting in shipping! I had ordered a bunch of bath oils and had only tried two and did not like them very much. So I am giving them another try!

I decided to give delight bath oil a try before giving up on lush’s bath oils all together. I mean with all the skin loving butters packed into these little guys I couldn’t resist. Delight is lemon scented. A sparkly, spicy little guy. I paired him with snow fairy, for a very sparkly, sweet and spicy, citrusy bath. I made sure the water was really hot, to ensure it would melt the bath oil, then dropped it in. At first it sank to the bottom and all the glitter fell off and also sank to the bottom. It took a while to disolve, there were beads of oil slowly forming on the top of the water but any one that knows me knows how impatient I am. So I grabbed the ball of cocoa butter and rubbed it all over, paying special attention to the areas the needed some extra TLC.  This left my skin so smooth, I didn’t need any oil or lotion after. Perfect for winter months or dry patches.

I am glad I gave these bath oils another chance. I am realizing that everything I hate with Lush at second sniff or second try I actually do love. Snow fairy hated it, now I am actually using it a lot. These bath oils, I have so 2 buckets filled with every bath oil that lush has to offer and I have had them sitting there because I didn’t think they were useful. Boy was I wrong. I am excited to start using them more. Stay tuned for more blog post about these lovely bath oils.
